Winemaker Notes

This alluring Cabernet Sauvignon-driven blend draws you in with luxurious aromas of ripe red berries, cassis, violet, leather and cocoa powder. On the palate, the entry is silky and concentrated, with supple tannins framing the rich, red fruit flavors as theybuild to a long-lasting finish with hints of savory spice.
Blend: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petite Sirah, 10% Zinfandel, 8% Petit Verdot, 8% Syrah, 2% Grenache, 2% Malbec

Extravagantly ripe in flavor and generously spiced from oak aging, this full-bodied wine is a well-behaved monster. Full tannins wrap around the blackberries, blueberries, cedar and cinnamon and are deep enough to keep echoing on the finish. Best from 2026.

COMMENTARY: The 2020 Paraduxx Proprietary Red Wine is an excellent blend primarily of Cabernet Sauvignon. TASTING NOTES: This wine excels with aromas and flavors of bold blackberries, savory spices, and dried earthy notes. Enjoy it with a well-spiced lamb stew. (Tasted: July 7, 2023, San Francisco, CA)

A firm and leaner red here with blackberries, pine cone, bark, and rust. Medium-bodied with linear tannins and a crisp finish.

Undoubtedly proving its merit over and over, Napa Valley is a now a leading force in the world of prestigious red wine regions. Though Cabernet Sauvignon dominates Napa Valley, other red varieties certainly thrive here. Important but often overlooked include Merlot and other Bordeaux varieties well-regarded on their own as well as for their blending capacities. Very old vine Zinfandel represents an important historical stronghold for the region and Pinot noir is produced in the cooler southern parts, close to the San Pablo Bay.

Perfectly situated running north to south, the valley acts as a corridor, pulling cool, moist air up from the San Pablo Bay in the evenings during the hot days of the growing season, which leads to even and slow grape ripening. Furthermore the valley claims over 100 soil variations including layers of volcanic, gravel, sand and silt—a combination excellent for world-class red wine production.
